New AI and NFT Scams Protection for Artist

AI SCAMS
I am aware of how the AI Scams work. There are many but I will comment on one of them.
To prevent mock up in sketch and coloured forms being stolen, adjusted and used in AI. Without the final payment and ghosting.

During the whole proccess, an AI ‘corrupter’ software will be used to corrupt any mocks. So if the design. Which looks fine to the human eye, is stolen attempted to be used.

The clients images will be corrupted and blurred during the reconsruction code of the AI creation process.
Which over time will completely muck up the AI software in a whole.. with corruppted data. 🙂

NFT SCAM
Repeat of the above AI Scams will apply to this as well.
The social media scam accounts (mostly wanted to be contacted via the popular Middle Eastern social media app Telegram) will be ignored.
I follow a strict ‘PROCESS” and “PAYMENT” timeline and scheduling. And do contracts and or paperwork. Like invoices, etc.

What I Will and Will Not Create for Commissions

WON’T CREATE

Some designs I won’t create, due to I don’t have the style or skill level for it. Or I don’t feel comfortable with it. Every artist has thier own reasons why. If you find it triggering then your not in the right place.

> designs related to scams in medical, medicine, vitamins, etc
> drugs (it includes anything that affects the brain) and alcohol.
> illegal content in Canada (even though its legal in Japan. I still won’t do it)
> mixed sexes. too confusing and complicated.
> furries, I’m not experienced enough in that style.

WILL CREATE

> social media stickers
> anthros (ex. half human have snake)
> anything religious or spiritual (as long as its not about hate)
> romance / couples who are straight and LGB.
> for kids G rated content

Good Reads

Its a free exposure event I am doing. Feel tree to add my own.
Any skill level and style is welcome as long as its manga based.
It can be a webtoon, scroll or desktop version.
Either starting out, on a roll or self published in print media.

Genres preferably: Horror, Action, Fantasy, Adventure, Mystery or Thriller.

Ratings: G to 14+ / M (no 18+ content).

Ad size: PNG or JPG // 200 x 200 pixels max to fit. The ad space is a square shape.

Language: English preferably.

Back in the early internet days free link sharing/swapping was common for a networking system.

Disclaimer

I have created in the past: WordPress and Social Media Themes. Website Design, Graphic Design and Print (Magazines, CD Covers, etc). Illustrations, Photo Editing, Video Tutorials and some Animation. Content Creator for IMVU 3D Community and Sticker Sets for Social Media Messenger platforms.

TIMELINE
Due to my TBI (brain injury), I only do commissions when I can. I do it as a form of brain and eye-retraining for now.
I don’t work on a normal schedule. I work at my own pace.
If SLOTS open up, its due to what I have available for art projects at that time.
I DO finish my requests.

PROCESS

Illustrations, graphics and logos, etc. Are available to be bought out or under limited license contract. Limited license is for limited use based on contract terms. If bought out, you own it and you can do with it as you wish. I will not draw certain themes that are considered restricted / illegal content.
Serious Inquires Only. Please have your project ready to start and have your budget and payment put aside. Due to recent issues with payment for commissions I will now implement a new policy. 25% down payment which includes what the project commission terms will be. 25% on submitting the sketches and mock ups, then 50% upon final delivery.
In an email asking about an estimate. Please send back the Commission Contract that you agree to the Terms of Service, Disclaimer, Payment (Shipping if Applicable) and Copyright.
Discussion through social media private messages or email for what the project is about and required. Its meant to keep records for legality on both sides. One may need to approve or change elements during the process of the project.
Phone calls and video calls via social media platforms is alright, but any information spoke about in that must also be written as per records for the project. Due to my brain injury speech can be distorted at times.

TIMELINE FOR ILLUSTRATIONS AND GRAPHIC DESIGN

Discussion of what the projects details are. Contract returned via email understanding you agree to the terms of service, process and payment options. 25% down payment.
Each step of the process must be signed off as completed either through email or private message. Before the next step. All steps will be watermarked with my logo and text until the artwork is paid in full.
Rough sketch then mock ups. Next 25% installment of payment.
2 free small alterations are allowed (quick fixes). Anything more or more complex than that. Or changes the project in a new way and requires more time. Charges extra.
Final line art and colour if applicable. Final piece.
Signing off of completion paperwork and final 50% payment in full required.
Release of the finished artwork via email including ownership and payment receipt. Once payment is sent and confirmed. I send back, via email a package. The package includes: High resolution digital image in either raster or vector depending on the type of commission. Such as an illustration or logo. Watermark free. Contract or License. (With PAID included on it.) Screenshotted receipt of payment.

Payment

DIGITAL COMMISSION PAYMENT

Currency is in Canadian funds. For example if its $20.00 its $20.00 CDN. Payment currently can be made via E-Transfer/ PayPal for Canadians and Paypal only for Americans.  For Paypal I will include the transaction fees. E-Transfer does not charge that.

Due to recent issues with payment for commissions, I will now implement a new policy. 25% down payment which includes what the project commission terms will be. 25% on submitting the sketches and mock ups, then 50% upon final delivery. There is no payment plan.

If no final payment is ever made. I will keep the logo, alter it and resell it. There is no Refund.

If its an illustration it will be used as a print in my merch shop. I OWN IT!

Any fraudulent ‘Charge-Backs’ will be reported to which the payment was made from and flagged. Because there was sign off during the whole process of the artwork, it would be seen as fraud. The client would of seen the final piece.

Without that or a signed finished contract or license it is not considered “SOLD”.

All my images and logos are registered, protected and copyrighted with serial numbers. Once payment is sent and confirmed. I send back, via email a package. The package includes: High resolution digital image in either raster or vector depending on the type of commission. Such as an illustration or logo. Watermark free. Contract or License. (With PAID included on it.) Screenshotted receipt of payment.

Shipping

DROPSHIP STORES:

My items are shipped through a drop ship company on my online stores like RedBubble and Art of Where. I do not physically ship it from my home.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS:

Contact would be made through the online stores. I don’t handle those.

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS:

Digital downloads will be available once payment is made. Depending on the item such as print it will be a PNG high resolution illustration. Icons for social media will be PNG files with transparent background.

SHIIPPING FROM MY HOME

COPYRIGHT

I retain all ownership to logos and illustrations I created until artwork is paid in full.

I retain ownership of the website theme until it is paid in full.

Once artwork or website theme is paid in full. I will send a package in an email with the released artwork file, ownership .PDF file and payment reciept.

Without that or a signed finished contract or license it is not considered “SOLD”.
